Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks a Mechanical Supervisor (PRV) to lead field maintenance, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with safety and Qatargas procedures. The role focuses on valve equipment, rotating machinery, and major shutdowns, with emphasis on documentation and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in maintenance, a mechanical diploma, SAP experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Secondary Education
• Three-year technical diploma in Mechanical (HNC/HND or equivalent)
• 10+ years maintenance experience with 5+ years supervisory level on field equipment
• Familiar with LOTO and permit to work systems
• English communication skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises mechanical maintenance by technicians
• Ensure adherence to Qatargas safety, permit to work, and environmental procedures
• Manage Tool Store, reordering consumables and refurbishing damaged tools
• Coordinate major shutdowns and turnarounds; assess resources and logistics
• Review work orders and ensure preventive maintenance compliance in SAP
• Participate in root cause analysis and maintenance history review
