Job summary
LA International Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineering Lead to oversee Instrumentation, Process, or Piping disciplines in Qatar on major Oil & Gas projects. You will drive FEED, EPC, commissioning, and startup activities while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
The role requires strong engineering leadership, international standards knowledge, and track record in large energy facilities. Onshore Qatar deployment with a long-term contract.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years in engineering with at least 4 years in Oil & Gas.
- Experience leading contractors, vendors and project teams.
- Strong FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering exposure.
Responsibilities
- Lead discipline engineering activities through FEED, EPC, commissioning and startup.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables with multidisciplinary project teams and contractors.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international engineering standards, industry codes, and project requirements.
- Support project planning, risk management, and technical decision-making activities.
- Oversee contractor, vendor, and subcontractor engineering performance.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, constructability reviews, and technical evaluations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of Oil & Gas processing facilities.
