Kempinski Hotels Doha is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance in Qatar to lead the hotel finance department, reporting to the Director of Finance and acting as second-in-command. The role oversees core accounting functions and ensures robust financial practices.

Responsibilities include managing month-end close, budgeting, cash flow management, and ensuring regulatory compliance across VAT/GST, corporate taxes, and payroll while driving profit optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cost control, purchasing and cash management.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize working capital and provide actionable financial analysis to maximize GOP.
• In the absence of the Director of Finance, assume full operational responsibility for the department.
