Job summary

Rosewood Doha is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage vendor invoices, vouchers, and payments in support of luxury hospitality operations. You will coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and department heads to ensure accurate posting and timely settlements.

The role emphasizes adherence to internal controls, accurate filing, and collaboration with the finance team to prepare monthly statements and accruals.

Qualifications

• Develop knowledge of accounting procedures as detailed in the Accounting Manual.
• Coordinate with section heads for Journal Voucher preparation.
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving notes.
• Prepare Payable Vouchers and record related expenses in the journal.
• Process payment checks and mark invoices as PAID.
• Review supplier statements and resolve discrepancies, ageing, and accruals.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of all procedures and operations.
• Coordinate with related heads for Journal Voucher preparation.
• Agree invoices with Daily Receiving Summary and verify correctness.
• Verify invoices are attached to approved POs.
• Prepare Payable Vouchers and record expenses in the journal.
• Prepare and issue payment checks.
• Ensure invoices and documentation are stamped PAID.
• Verify mailing addresses and signatures before payments.
• Maintain proper filing and audit-ready documentation.
• Assist in monthly financial statements preparation.
