Job summary

Confidential Company in Qatar seeks an experienced L2 production support engineer to maintain APIs, data services and cloud platforms. You will triage incidents, investigate root causes and implement changes under defined SLAs.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise production support, strong Linux/Windows, APIs, SQL, containerization with Kubernetes, scripting in Python, and ITIL practices. Based in Qatar or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a directly relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant L2 application, platform or production-support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux or Windows, APIs, SQL, log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, monitoring tools and networking concepts.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash or Python for diagnostics and automation.
• ItIL incident, problem, change and service-level management practices.
• Exposure to AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, automation and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Qatar-based L2 production support for applications, APIs, integrations, data services and cloud platforms operating under defined SLAs.
• Triages and resolves incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Investigates incidents using logs, metrics, traces, queries and diagnostics to restore service.
• Analyze logs for root cause identification and execute approved changes and releases.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles and RCA inputs; contribute to DR and continuous improvement.
• Support data and AI pipeline or inference-related incidents as needed.
