IT Procurement & Sourcing Lead

Job summary

QNB Group in Doha seeks a senior IT Sourcing Lead to manage end-to-end procurement of IT services for the bank and its subsidiaries. You will develop the scope of work, run RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, and lead supplier negotiations to drive contracts in collaboration with Group Legal and stakeholders.

You will coach a 2–3 person sourcing team, monitor supplier performance, and ensure spend aligns with the bank's technology roadmap. Strong English and a Bachelor's degree are required (MCIPS preferred).

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of IT procurement or sourcing experience.
• Hands-on experience managing IT RFPs, tenders and complex technology negotiations.
• Good understanding of software licensing, cloud/SaaS, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MCIPS preferred.
• Strong negotiation, commercial and analytical skills.
• Experience leading or coaching junior sourcing professionals.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT sourcing from RFIs to contracts.
• Conduct tenders, analyze responses, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage contract process in coordination with Legal and other departments.
• Allocate projects to the team and ensure delivery quality.
• Coach a 2–3 person sourcing team on strategy and negotiations.
• Maintain vendor panel/database and stakeholder communications.
