Job summary

Madre integrated Engineering - Qatar, Doha seeks an IT Assistant to provide first-line technical support and maintain IT operations. You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, support end users, manage assets, and assist day-to-day IT tasks.

Responsibilities include configuring Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, AD user support, network troubleshooting, and helping with onboarding/offboarding. A diploma or bachelor’s in IT and 1–3 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or similar role.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic Active Directory administration.
• Basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience using IT service management or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of endpoint security and antivirus solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support user account creation, password resets, and basic Active Directory administration.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, email, and peripheral devices.
• Install, update, and maintain software applications, antivirus programs, and security patches.
• Manage and resolve IT support requests through the organization's ticketing system within defined service levels.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing devices, creating user accounts, and configuring required access.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and technical documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on IT equipment.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel when necessary.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
