Job summary

Saba Intellectual Property in Doha seeks an experienced IP legal professional to support clients on intellectual property rights matters, including trademark protection and enforcement.

You will assist clients with queries, manage oppositions and clearance work, coordinate with external lawyers, draft licensing and assignment agreements, and provide timely updates and translations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in intellectual property or a related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with queries related to IP law and related matters.
• Manage trademark opposition and counterstatement cases, including preparation and hearings.
• Conduct trademark clearance work and prepare clearance reports.
• Coordinate enforcement actions, investigations, and reporting to clients.
• Draft and review IP-related agreements, licenses, assignments, and joint ventures.
• Provide translations for legal and IP documents as needed.
• Prepare daily correspondence, reports and updates for clients.
