Job summary

Saba Intellectual Property in Doha seeks an experienced IP professional to support client matters related to intellectual property rights. You will assist with queries, manage trademark opposition and clearance work, and coordinate with external lawyers on litigation.

Responsibilities include handling enforcement actions, drafting IP-related agreements, preparing client updates, and providing translation services as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of IP or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with queries on IP rights.
• Manage trademark opposition and counterstatement cases.
• Conduct trademark clearance work and draft clearance reports.
• Handle IP enforcement actions, customs recordals, investigations.
• Prepare administrative complaints for IP violations and coordinate with authorities.
• Coordinate with external lawyers on litigation and case management.
• Draft and review licensing, franchising, assignment, and JV agreements.
• Draft enforcement-related documents for IP disputes.
• Prepare daily client correspondence, reports, and updates.
• Provide translation of legal/IP documents as needed.
• Participate in IP training and client outreach on brand protection.
• Prepare annual audit reports for clients.
