Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Information Technology Specialist for voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in Doha. You will provide first-line technical support, assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, and help colleagues deliver seamless guest experiences.

Based in Doha, you will support PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, IPTV, telephony, and back-office apps; monitor system performance, manage user accounts, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with PMS and POS is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of hotel IT infrastructure.
• Support PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, IPTV, telephony, and back-office applications.
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain user accounts, access permissions, and IT documentation.
• Assist with backups, software updates, and security procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and support.
• Ensure compliance with IHG technology standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Document support requests and system configurations.
