Job summary

Al‑Futtaim Automotive in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a skilled Technician - Trucks and Buses to join its busy workshop. You will inspect, diagnose, service and repair heavy commercial vehicles to ensure safety, reliability and performance.

The role involves preventive maintenance, diesel engine repairs, electrical diagnostics, and thorough fault finding across hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with strict documentation of work performed.

Qualifications

Diploma, ITI or relevant technical qualification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics or related discipline.
Hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing trucks, buses or heavy vehicles.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial trucks and buses.
Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical and operational problems.
Diagnose and repair faults affecting diesel engines and transmission systems.
Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic vehicle systems using diagnostic tools.
Maintain accurate workshop documentation and job cards.
