Qualifications

• ITI, diploma, or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Auto Electrical, or a related discipline.
• Relevant hands-on experience in the servicing and repair of commercial trucks, buses, or other heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and CAN bus systems is an advantage.
• A valid driving license, where required for the position, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs on commercial trucks and buses.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, braking, steering, suspension and electrical systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications.
• Record findings, parts used, and next steps on the job card.
• Ensure work is completed within time and quality standards.
