Job summary

Qatar Airways Group seeks an experienced digital technology leader to manage passenger-facing platforms at Hamad International Airport. You will lead a team of developers and designers, overseeing the full lifecycle from development to ongoing support and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
Experience leading IT projects and delivering large technology work programmes.
Experience in application development, implementation and support management.
Experience managing software development teams and digital delivery.
Experience in Agile environments and enterprise system-support capabilities.
Experience managing vendors, hosted services and SLAs.
Strong leadership, stakeholder-management and communication skills.
Ability to delegate, set direction and develop team capability.
English proficiency; airline/aviation background advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead development and ongoing support of passenger-facing web, mobile and digital platforms.
Manage a team of software developers and designers with clear priorities.
Develop and maintain technology strategy and roadmap with stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into practical digital capabilities.
Apply Agile methods to deliver solutions efficiently.
Introduce AI-enabled software engineering practices to improve speed and quality.
Own end-to-end digital solutions from development to maintenance.
Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of critical platforms.
Lead incident responses and coordinate restoration of services.
Manage technology programs, vendors, contracts and SLAs.
Govern projects with planning, risk management and reporting.
Ensure IT governance, information security and data protection compliance.
Develop business cases, budgets and investment priorities.
Build relationships across business and technology teams.
