Job summary

Snoonu, Qatar’s homegrown Super App, seeks a Deputy Director of Food Operations to own the vertical’s performance, costs, and growth. You will partner with the COO to translate strategy into measurable outcomes, drive efficiency, and ensure profitability in a fast-paced delivery ecosystem.

You will oversee vendor performance, delivery efficiency, and margin optimization, shaping incentives, forecasting demand, and implementing robust SOPs.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years in operations, with 5–7 years in food delivery or tech-enabled logistics.
• Experience in dense, competitive markets is essential.
• Strong analytical capability and experience with dashboards and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational engine of the Food vertical, focusing on performance, profitability and reliability.
• Translate strategy into KPIs, cost controls, and scalable processes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Product and Tech to optimize dispatch, batching, and margins.
