Job summary

GreenHarvest Industries in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen. You will create and execute a menu that blends traditional Indian dishes with modern techniques, while supervising all aspects of food preparation, quality control, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate has at least five years as a Head Chef in a high-volume setting and proven leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Expertise in Indian cuisine with regional variations and traditional cooking methods.
• Ability to develop new menu items while maintaining high quality and presentation.
• Strong leadership to manage a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen and oversee food preparation and quality control.
• Develop and execute menus showcasing Indian cuisine with modern techniques.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Direct and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high standards.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen in Ar-Ruwais. As the Head Chef you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases traditional Indian dishes while also incorporating modern techniques and flavours. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen including food preparation, quality control, inventory management and team leadership.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen
• Expertise in Indian cuisine with a strong understanding of regional variations and traditional cooking methods
• Ability to develop new menu items and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team of chefs cooks and kitchen staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.
