Job summary

Mondrian Doha is seeking a courteous Guest Service Associate to welcome arriving guests, assist with luggage, escort guests to their rooms, and explain hotel facilities including outlets, spa and restaurant options.

You will deliver luggage, respond to guests' requests, store bags securely, keep storage areas tidy, and share knowledge of hotel events and local happenings to ensure a memorable stay.

Qualifications

• Greet arriving guests and assist with luggage.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain room facilities.
• Recommend hotel outlets (restaurant, bar, spa) and local happenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and retrieve their luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms.
• Explain the room facilities and sell the hotel’s various outlets (restaurant, bar, spa).
• Deliver luggage, messages, faxes, packages, etc. for guests and to undertake various other requests to ensure their comfort.
• Transport departing guests’ luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring all luggage has been accounted for.
• Ensure luggage is stored safely according to prescribed procedures.
• Keep the luggage storage area clean and tidy at all times.
• Inform guests with savvy knowledge of the hotel, its services, the city, and local happenings.
• Be fully aware of what functions are going on in the hotel.
• Provide gracious, attentive, and friendly service.
