Job summary

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Reservations professional to process requests by phone, fax, or mail in Doha, Qatar. You will identify guest needs, verify room availability, and explain rates, guarantees, and cancellation policies.

Meals provided on duty and days off; accommodation available if required. You will input data into the reservations system, handle special requests, and uphold Marriott's service standards in a luxury, non-management team.

Qualifications

Proven customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple requests with accuracy.
Attention to detail in reservation entries.

Responsibilities

Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room type.
Verify room type availability and explain guarantees, rates, and cancellation policies.
Accommodate and document special requests.
Input and access data in the reservation system.
Explain codes for special room types and rates in the system.
Escalate guest concerns per proper procedures when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance per policies.
Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
