Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North in Lusail, Qatar, seeks a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring warm, professional service from inquiry to stay. You will manage reservations, enter guest data into the PMS, and maximize revenue through strategic upselling.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, coordinating with front office and housekeeping, and maintaining data integrity across systems to prevent overbooking.

Qualifications

• PMS and RMS proficiency is required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and distribution channels.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Demonstrated guest-focused customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple reservations simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Solid understanding of hotel operations and reservation procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Strong problem-solving skills for guest requests.
• Sales and upselling ability with a goal-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle special requests with empathy and creativity to personalize stays.
• Maintain accurate guest information across channels and systems.
• Analyze booking patterns to support revenue strategies.
• Collaborate with front office, housekeeping and management for seamless transitions.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Update reservation systems in real-time to prevent overbooking.
• Develop knowledge of regional market dynamics and events for informed recommendations.
