Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a waiter to deliver excellent guest service in our restaurant. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure accurate delivery of food and beverages with courteous service.

You will also monitor tables, assist with refills, process payments, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth operations. Prioritizing guest satisfaction and adherence to food safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the restaurant's menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Proficiency in taking orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Ability to serve food and beverages professionally, including proper tray handling.
• Capacity to handle guest concerns effectively and adhere to restaurant policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and describe menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders into the POS system and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve dishes and drinks with accuracy and courtesy.
• Check back with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Monitor tables for needs and assist with refills and clearing.
• Process payments, handle cash/credit transactions, and provide receipts.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and stations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
