Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a customer-oriented Waiter to deliver excellent dining service in our Qatar restaurant. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and help ensure guest satisfaction with accurate orders and friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, describing menu items, handling payments, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area in line with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and specials to describe dishes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Proficiency in taking orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Ability to serve food and beverages professionally with proper tray handling and knowledge of wine and beverages.
• Capacity to handle guest complaints or concerns effectively and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and provide menu descriptions or recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders into the POS system and relay to kitchen and bar promptly.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner with accurate presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Monitor tables for additional needs and clear plates or provide condiments.
• Process guest payments, handle cash/credit transactions, and present bills.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service and coordination.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and organization and ensure health standards.
