Job summary

Snoonu in Qatar is seeking a Category Manager to lead the Grocery category across its dark store network. You will own assortment, profitability, and availability, collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to optimize product mix and pricing.

Responsibilities include developing category strategy, SKU rationalization, supplier negotiations, and driving promo campaigns while maintaining margin and planogram compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3-5 years of category management, buying, or FMCG/Q-Commerce experience.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel; ERP/retail systems experience preferred.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, assortment planning, and promotions execution.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the category strategy for Grocery across all dark stores.
• Analyze assortment performance and recommend SKU rationalization and gaps.
• Negotiate supplier terms including cost pricing, rebates, and returns.
• Monitor and improve category gross margins while maintaining competitive pricing.
• Plan and implement promotional campaigns to drive volume and growth.
• Collaborate with Operations to address availability, inventory turnover, and merchandising compliance.
• Lead regular reporting on category KPIs, including GM%, in-stock rate, RTV, and SKU productivity.
• Ensure compliance with merchandising standards and planograms across store form.
