Tanqeeb in Doha, Qatar seeks a General Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple salon locations. This full-time on-site role requires strong leadership to drive performance and maintain high service standards.

You will manage departments such as Operations, HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and coordinate with owners to implement strategic initiatives, budgeting, cost control and growth.

• Oversee staffing, workforce planning and employee performance.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Coordinate with Finance on budgets, expenses, payments and cost control.
• Ensure policies, procedures and standards are properly implemented.
• Identify operational issues and implement practical improvements.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and business partners.
• Provide regular business updates to ownership/management.
• Support expansion, new projects and strategic initiatives.

Role Description

The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple salon locations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing multiple departments, driving business performance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high standards of service across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the company and its branches.

Lead and coordinate Operations, HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing and other support functions.

Monitor branch performance, revenue, expenses, productivity and operational targets.

Develop and implement strategies to improve business performance and profitability.

Ensure consistent service standards and excellent customer experience across all branches.

Lead department heads, supervisors and management teams and ensure accountability for results.

Review operational reports, KPIs and business performance and take corrective action where required.

Oversee staffing requirements, workforce planning and overall employee performance.

Work closely with HR on recruitment, employee relations, performance management and organizational requirements.

Coordinate with Finance on budgets, expenses, payments and cost control.

Ensure company policies, procedures and operational standards are properly implemented.

Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions and process improvements.

Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and other business partners.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements.

Provide regular business and operational updates to ownership/management.

Support business expansion, new projects and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior management position.

Strong experience managing business operations and multiple departments.

Experience in the beauty, salon, hospitality, retail or service industry is preferred.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Good understanding of budgeting, cost control and business performance.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple branches, departments and priorities simultaneously.

Previous management experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
