Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL seeks an experienced Mechanical Technician and Supervisor to support Forward Maintenance activities in Qatar. You will supervise personnel, manage resources, and ensure compliance with the organisation's regulatory framework.

Role includes deputising for the FDMM during absences and ensuring safe, on-time aircraft maintenance aligned with flying programmes. Strong leadership and data-handling abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential authorisations and competencies for coordinating maintenance.
• Experience supervising mechanical trade teams in an aero environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day management of maintenance trade teams and resources.
• Advise the FDMM on engineering or supply issues affecting flight safety.
• Coordinate handovers and ensure currency and training compliance.
