Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician and Supervisor to oversee Forward Maintenance activities in Doha. The role delivers day-to-day management of mechanical manpower and resources to ensure safe, serviceable aircraft align with flying tasks.

Responsibilities include deputising for the FDMM and Rectification Controllers as needed, ensuring training and currency, and maintaining high standards of safety and airworthiness within the regulatory

Qualifications

• The post holder will be an experienced Mechanical Technician and Supervisor responsible for Forward Maintenance.
• Competent to supervise personnel carrying out maintenance instructions within regulatory framework.
• Describing supervisory responsibilities for FDMM and Rectification Controllers during absences.

Responsibilities

• Manage Forward Maintenance Mechanical manpower and equipment to meet flying tasks.
• Advise FDMM on engineering or supply problems affecting flight safety or schedule.
• Advise on any practices or systems that threaten safety or quality of maintenance logistics.
