Job summary

BAE Systems in Qatar is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician and Supervisor for Forward Maintenance. You will manage Mechanical trades, oversee training and competency, and deputise for the FDMM and Rectification Controllers when required.

Responsibilities include coordinating resources, advising on safety-related issues, and ensuring airworthiness in line with regulatory frameworks while aligning with flight schedules.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2675/2661 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor level experience in aviation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day Mechanical trade manpower and equipment to meet flight tasks.
• Advise the FDMM on engineering or supply issues impacting flight safety.
• Deputise for the FDMM and Rectification Controllers during absences.
