Job summary

Qatar Airways Group's Enterprise Data Analytics team within Finance invites a strategic FBI Manager to lead the Financial Business Intelligence strategy across portfolios. You will steer data products, dashboards, and analytic models to deliver actionable insights and drive profitability.

In this role you will mentor BI professionals, collaborate with senior Finance leaders, and translate complex data into clear business recommendations that shape the department's plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in preparing and giving presentations on business performance to senior management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on PowerBi and Alteryx.
• Proven experience in managing a team of data analysts or business intelligence professionals.
• Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
• Experience working on projects concentrating on digital transformation, continuous improvement, and enhancements is essential for this role.
• Experience working with Finance will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Delivery: You will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of the FBI Strategy, ensuring its alignment with our business objectives.
• Data Products & Dashboard Creation: You will leverage your expertise in data and analytics to create comprehensive data products and oversee the development of sophisticated dashboards and analytical models to provide actionable insights
• Stakeholder Management: You will collaborate with senior leadership from Finance and other key stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: You will communicate effectively with various business teams, providing them with valuable analytical insights on performance and trends. Your role will involve working closely with these teams to identify areas of opportunity and drive performance improvement.
