Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. You will develop scenarios, analyze variances and present insights to executives, enabling informed decisions and proactive cost control across the business.

The role emphasizes building value through efficient processes, robust KPIs, and high-quality financial commentary. A strong English command and advanced Excel/Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of related financial experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and perform analyses using quantitative tools; report variances monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Identify process improvements with finance stakeholders to streamline reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
• Develop and report KPIs with the business and monitor performance.
• Ensure accounting reporting aligns with corporate definitions and reports.
• Improve reporting of route profitability and management reporting.
• Review annual budget submissions in line with strategies and targets.
• Control spend to meet cost of sale targets and suggest measures.
• Assess business case proposals for revenue rise or cost reduction.
• Review contracts for financial compliance and consolidate monthly results.
• Consolidate and analyze department results for monthly and annual budgeting.
• Perform other department duties as required by the Business Finance manager.
