Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an Executive Chef for Catering Operations in Doha, Qatar. The role oversees culinary operations across multiple sites, driving menu development, cost control and high standards of service.

The candidate will lead large kitchen teams, ensure food safety compliance, and report to the Project Manager. International cuisine expertise and strong communication are essential for success in a fast-paced, expat-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in five-star hotel culinary operations.
• Excellent knowledge of international cuisines and modern practices.
• Proven leadership of large kitchen teams.
• Strong skills in menu planning, cost control, inventory and QA.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and standards.
• Strong managerial, organisational and administrative abilities.
• Willingness to travel between sites and report to Project Manager.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage culinary operations across multiple sites.
• Oversee menu development, costing and quality control.
• Coach and motivate kitchen staff to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and regulatory standards.
• Report progress and issues to the Project Manager.

EXECUTIVE CHEF – CATERING OPERATIONS, Doha, Qatar

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Executive Chef to lead and manage high-level culinary operations across multiple sites.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in five-star hotels, with strong professional culinary exposure
• Excellent knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary practices
• Proven experience leading, motivating and managing large kitchen teams
• Strong skills in menu planning, food production, cost control, inventory and quality management
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and operational standards
• Strong managerial, organisational and administrative abilities
• Able to oversee multiple sites and support the Project Manager when required
• Computer literate with strong reporting and documentation skills
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
• Smart, confident, well-presented and an excellent communicator
