Job summary
ProgressSoft Corporation in Doha is seeking Support & Implementation Engineers to provide high-level onsite and remote IT liaison. You will lead enterprise solutions implementations and ongoing support for incidents, working closely with software, network, and database teams to ensure seamless delivery.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, at least 2 years of relevant experience, willingness to travel, and strong knowledge of databases, OS, cloud tools, and DevOps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Willing to travel and work extra hours when needed.
- Experience with database engines (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Nomad).
- Experience with application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).
- Knowledge of DevOps techniques including CI/CD, Helm, Ansible.
- Knowledge of Directory Services (AD & LDAP).
- Excellent communication and team-work skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement and install solutions at customer infrastructure platforms.
- Work onsite and offsite to troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues across implementation layers.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and tickets.
- Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance visits.
- Fulfill other job-related duties as needed.
