Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a Duty Manager to join our Front Office team. You will maintain a visible management presence, oversee incident handling, and support daily operations across the Front Office.

The role focuses on guest satisfaction, complaint resolution, and coordination with leadership for smooth service delivery. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a luxury hotel, 2+ years in a Duty Manager role, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Duty Manager or similar operational role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide visual management presence around the hotel in public and BOH areas.
• Ensure continuity of management in complaint handling with timely investigation and apology.
• Attend operational meetings and ensure effective handovers and follow-up actions.
• Assist the Front Office Manager and senior leaders to supervise all front-of-house activities according to standards.
