IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Coordinator to lead offshore brownfield, shutdown, hook-up and commissioning activities, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You will supervise contractors, verify deliverables, monitor progress, and coordinate PTW meetings, escalating issues as needed while promoting a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate holds a Higher National Diploma in Telecommunications and has 8 years in Oil & Gas

Qualificações

• Offshore construction experience and familiarity with offshore execution processes.
• Knowledge of safety standards, LNG/sour gas facilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in large-scale oil & gas projects and project organizations.

Coordinate offshore telecom brownfield, shutdown, hook-up, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, integrity, and operational objectives in collaboration with operations and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate offshore brownfield, shutdown, hook-up, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise contractors during execution, mechanical completion, and commissioning.
• Verify constructability and technical compliance of deliverables.
• Monitor progress, report deviations, and coordinate completion activities.
• Coordinate PTW meetings and ensure compliance with approved method statements and JSAs.
• Escalate non-compliance and close assigned safety actions.
• Promote safety culture and participate in lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Higher National Diploma in Telecommunications.
• 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, and hook-up activities.

Skills and Competencies

• Oil & Gas or offshore construction experience.
• Knowledge of offshore execution, fabrication, installation, commissioning, safety standards, and LNG/sour gas facilities.
• Experience in large-scale operations or project organizations.
