Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control professional to coordinate offshore Brownfield, Hook-up, and Commissioning activities in Qatar. You will supervise contractors, review deliverables for safety and technical compliance, and ensure progress is tracked accurately against project objectives.

The role requires a Higher National Diploma in Instrumentation & Control and a minimum of 8 years in Oil & Gas construction environments.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma in Instrumentation & Control.
• Minimum 8 years experience in construction-related disciplines on major Oil & Gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Hook-up, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and international standards.
• Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.
• Monitor contractor progress, identify issues, and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
• Coordinate progress tracking and reporting with contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee PTW meetings and ensure compliance with approved method statements and JSAs.
• Report discipline-related non-compliance to line management.
• Promote safety culture offshore and ensure closure of assigned safety actions.
• Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown, Hook-up, and Commissioning activities for the Instrument & Control discipline, ensuring COMPANY standards, safety, quality, and project objectives are met in collaboration with Operations and contractors.
