Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking a senior coordinator to oversee offshore piping and structural brownfield, shutdowns, hook-ups and commissioning activities, ensuring safety, quality, integrity and efficient execution in collaboration with OESS, Operations and Contractors.

The role requires aligning with offshore safety standards, supervising contractors, verifying technical compliance, and driving continuous improvement while promoting a strong offshore safety culture and delivering

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma in Mechanical or Structural Engineering with 8 years of Oil & Gas construction experience on large projects including fabrication, installation, execution, completion and hook-up.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with offshore safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate brownfield, shutdown, hook-up, and commissioning activities to meet project objectives.
• Supervise contractor execution, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Verify constructability and technical compliance of project deliverables.
• Monitor contractor progress, resolve issues, and report deviations.
• Coordinate PTW activities with OESS, QatarEnergy LNG hosts, and contractors.
• Escalate non-compliance and close assigned safety actions.
• Promote offshore safety culture and participate in lessons learned.

• Knowledge of engineering standards, safety requirements, fabrication, installation, brownfield execution, commissioning, and hook-up.
• Understanding of offshore facilities, operations, and sour gas/LNG project risks.
• Experience in large-scale Operations, Projects, or Subsurface organizations.
