Job summary

The Ned Doha is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Commis 1 to join our luxury kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment where creativity, teamwork, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

You will prepare high-quality ingredients and dishes, support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs, maintain hygiene and food safety, and contribute to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepare high‑quality ingredients and dishes in line with our culinary standards. Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. Ensure food is prepared and presented with consistency and attention to detail. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness. Work collaboratively with the team to deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Commis Chef, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant. A genuine passion for food and hospitality. Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a professional kitchen. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
