Job summary

UCC Holding in Qatar seeks an experienced Business Development Director to lead strategic growth, identify opportunities, and secure major projects across GCC markets. You will manage key client relationships, drive bid strategy and negotiations, and align cross-functional teams to wins.

The role requires a strong engineering or business background, MBA preferred, and a proven track record in construction, infrastructure or EPC sectors. Fluent English; Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration,Commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of BD, commercial or strategic growth experience.
  • Proven track record securing large-scale construction, infrastructure, energy, or EPC projects.
  • Strong GCC & MENA networks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and market growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial, and EPC sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, developers, consultants, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Lead bid strategy, commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and proposal development for major projects.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to enhance market positioning.
  • Establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to support business growth.
  • Drive client engagement and manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation to contract award.
  • Collaborate with technical, commercial, legal, and operations teams to ensure successful project pursuits.
  • Prepare business plans, forecasts, and executive reports for senior management.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Requirements
