Job summary

Employment seeks a seasoned Commercial & Contracts Director to lead the commercial, contractual, and risk management functions for major EPC and Oil & Gas projects in Qatar. You will drive commercial strategy, governance, and profitability across bid reviews, tenders, and project execution.

You will oversee contract negotiations, administration, claims management, and dispute resolution, ensuring compliance with FIDIC and global standards while mentoring teams and optimizing cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or related discipline.
• Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as MRICS, MSc Construction Law, CCM, PMP or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial governance across EPC and Oil & Gas projects.
• Oversee contract development, negotiation, and administration.
• Direct claims, variations, and extensions of time processes.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC and international contracting standards.
• Manage tendering, pre-contract activities, and risk assessment.
• Lead cost control, forecasting, and project cash flow.
