Job summary

voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in the heart of Doha, seeks a Banquet Supervisor to lead the banquet team and oversee flawless event service. You will ensure every detail meets our standards, from corporate meetings to celebrations, delivering memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, F&B, Hospitality or related field.
• Experience as Banquet Supervisor in a 4/5-star hotel or midscale environment.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations, guest relations and food safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with ability to manage multiple events.
• Willingness to work in evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to hotel standards.
• Lead, train and motivate the banquet team to provide exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate event setup, service flow and breakdown activities for seamless execution.
• Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate requirements, timelines and service expectations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support inventory control, equipment management and cost-effective operations.
