Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section under the guidance of the Sous Chef. You will ensure timely food delivery, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and uphold HACCP compliance across all dishes in your section.

The role requires minimum 3 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and a solid foundation in food production and safety practices. You will work in a fast-paced, international kitchen environment with opportunities to influence menu

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and previous Commis Chef role.
• Experience in restaurant kitchen operations and food production.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in their section following recipes and HACCP standards.
• Assist in development of menus and new service concepts.
• Conduct inventory and manage wastage to minimize costs.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef on orders, stock, and deliveries.
• Review food costing, sales mix, and menu planning with the team.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per food hygiene guidelines.
• Report equipment issues and manage kitchen stock movement.
