Job summary

Qatar Duty Free Company is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section, managing a small team and ensuring timely, compliant food production. You will adhere to HACCP standards, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to menu development under the guidance of the Sous Chef.

The successful candidate will have a culinary education and a track record of 3+ years as a Commis Chef, with strong English communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Commis Chef.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Culinary school or certified culinary professional courses/program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in their section following recipes and standards.
• Develop menus with Sous Chef and explore new service concepts.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP compliance in their section.
• Monitor stock and assist in inventory, minimizing wastage.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and stock levels are kept in check and reported if issues arise.
