Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network in Ar-Ruwais invites an experienced Head Chef to lead our Arabic kitchen, craft menu concepts, and ensure consistent quality across all dishes. You will oversee operations, manage food costs, inventory, and training of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional Arabic cuisine.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in a senior kitchen role in high-volume settings, fluent English (Arabic preferred). A culinary degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant specializing in Arabic cuisine.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design menus that showcase traditional Arabic dishes with a modern twist.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards of taste, presentation and quality.
• Manage food costs by sourcing ingredients efficiently and minimizing waste.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain proper stock levels.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen to meet health codes and safety regulations.
