Avanceon Middle East & South Asia is in search of a detail-oriented Application / SCADA Engineer to join its Qatar operations team. This role involves the design, development, implementation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA and HMI applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 2-4 years of experience, and hands-on expertise with specific software tools.

The successful hire will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution while adhering to project documentation standards. Preferred candidates possess a valid Qatari work visa/NOC.

Job Summary

Avanceon is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Application / SCADA Engineer to join its Qatar operations team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA and HMI applications for industrial automation projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS).
• Develop software and hardware design specifications.
• Design, develop, implement, test, and document SCADA and HMI logic/scripts.
• Develop SCADA system validation and testing protocols.
• Specify and procure related software and licenses.
• Assist in estimating project man-hours and execution requirements.
• Install, test, commission, and start up SCADA systems at client sites.
• Provide training to operators and engineers on SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation in line with project requirements and company standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in SCADA system development and implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with AVEVA System Platform and FactoryTalk View SE (FT View SE).
• Experience with GISIZE Geospatial Module.
• Understanding industrial automation systems and communication protocols will be an added advantage.
• Candidates holding a valid Qatari work visa/NOC will be preferred.
