Job summary

Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. You will manage supplier invoices, payments, and records, ensuring accuracy and timely settlements.

The role requires a solid understanding of GAAP, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You will interact with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support month-end close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in accounts payable preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of billing and invoicing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and handle payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
