Job summary

Al Ali Engineering Co.WLL seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations. You will drive timely month-end close and ensure accuracy of financial statements.

This role involves cash flow monitoring, petty cash management, budgeting support, variance analysis, and collaboration with internal/external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Execute timely month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, handle petty cash management, and assist in treasury functions.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, variance analysis, and actual vs. forecast tracking.
• Ensure strict compliance with local financial regulations, corporate policies, and IFRS guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary schedules, documentation, and clarifications.
• Optimize financial processes and leverage ERP systems to improve data integrity and department efficiency.
