Job summary

alwaha cars is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions in Doha, Qatar.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong reporting and Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software; CPA/ACCA is preferred. The role includes managing GL, AP, AR, and coordinating monthly to annual financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong financial reporting and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software.
• CPA or ACCA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL, AP, and AR.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise junior staff and improve processes.
