Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant General Accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Experience handling AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documentation.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Manage AP and AR transactions and related reconciliations.
• Support monthly financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and assist audits.
