Job summary

Nordex Mediterranean region is seeking a maintenance technician to support wind turbine upkeep in Setúbal, Portugal. You will perform safe maintenance tasks, analyze defects, and coordinate with Service Coordinators while traveling for on-site work.

Ideal candidates have electrical or mechanical education, basic English, and a willingness to travel regularly, including nights away from home. MS Office and internal systems experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines.
• Work safely for material and personnel.
• Analyse defects with phone contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously perform simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance/inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and manage material on site.
• Monitor service reports and steer service processes to book expenses correctly.

YOUR TASKS

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it´s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb everyday some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).
