Nordex Group in Setúbal, Portugal, is seeking an on-site wind turbine service technician to perform maintenance, troubleshoot defects, and follow strict safety guidelines.

The role requires electrical or mechanical education, regular travel, good English, and proficiency with MS Office and in-house systems. Training will be provided, and you will collaborate with subcontractors to keep turbines running smoothly.

• Electrical or mechanical education required.
• Willing to travel regularly; nights away may be required.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to take responsibility.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Computer literacy and MS Office experience.

Responsabilidades

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines.
• Work safely for material and personnel.
• Analyze defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site.
• Monitor booked service reports and steer service process to book expenses correctly.

YOUR TASKS

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines
• Work safely for material and personnel
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.

• Standard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctly

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it ́s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb everyday some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).
