Axians Portugal is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to strengthen security across critical applications. You will collaborate with development, security and infrastructure teams to identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC in a highly regulated, international environment.

You will monitor asset coverage, prioritize remediation, coordinate with stakeholders, and produce regular progress reports.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT field.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in security assessments and risk analysis.

Vulnerability Management Specialist

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join a project within the banking sector. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for enhancing the security posture of critical applications and supporting the organization's vulnerability management strategy. You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the software development lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to application security initiatives, promote secure development practices, and help strengthen cybersecurity controls within a highly regulated and international environment.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Monitor that all assets are covered by the vulnerability scannig tools.
• Monitor that all assets are regularly and successfully scaned.
• Examine scan tests results, prioritize and propose remediation plans and follow-up to the concerned entities.
• Analyze critical patches information and identify impacted perimeters.
• Alert entities impacted by critical patches.
• Follow the progress of the deployment of critical patches.
• Formalize and communicate a progress report.
• Monitor and request penetration tests on behalf of the company’s entities.
• Analyze test results, prioritize and propose remediation plans, monitor remediation.
• Control the quality and alignment with the requirements of the services provided by the penetration test providers.
• Monitor that eligible assets (internal and external) are covered by the code review tools.
• Monitor that all assets are regularly and successfully scaned.

Your Key Skills

• Vulnerability Management and Application Security.
• Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Security Assessment and Risk Analysis.

Your Main Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT field
• Wide vision on IT field
• Cybersecurity knowledge/experience is a plus
• Produce regular and on demand reports about all topics
• MS Excel advanced knowledge
• Fluency in English
