Job summary

Thales Group in Lisbon is seeking a Sales Director to lead and grow its cybersecurity services business in Portugal. You will define the commercial strategy, lead the sales team, and drive sustainable revenue and profitability in the local market.

The role collaborates with Marketing, Presales, Delivery, and global peers to expand consulting, auditing, monitoring, incident response, and technology integration services across local and multinational opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity sales.
• 3–5 years of experience leading sales teams with proven metrics.
• Strong knowledge of the Portuguese market.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Native or bilingual Portuguese.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets.

The role will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy, leading the sales team, and achieving sustainable revenue and profitability growth in the Portuguese market.

The company is a global organization with a strong local presence in Portugal, featuring a complete business structure that includes Sales, Operations, Engineering, and all support functions.

The service portfolio includes consulting, auditing, monitoring, incident response, and cybersecurity technology integration services. Services are delivered by the local organization, supported by and fully integrated into the company’s global network
