Job summary

iCapital, Llc is seeking an AI Security Engineer at AVP/VP level to lead the firm's AI security engineering practice. The role focuses on defining secure-by-design standards, governance, and controls for AI-enabled development within a regulated fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of LLM and agentic system risks and mitigations (prompt injection, data poisoning, excessive agency).
• Experience securing AI/ML workloads in cloud-native environments, AWS preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AI developer tools and agentic AI architectures, including securing or building them.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead iCapital's AI security strategy and secure-by-design standards.
• Establish governance and controls for AI coding assistants and MCP integrations.
• Conduct threat modeling and security reviews of AI systems and integrations.
• Design and implement AI guardrails, including prompt injection defenses and data protection.
